The Evolution Wall Sconce draws inspiration from the process which transforms licorice root into the delicious chewy candy loved (or despised) by so many.

The inner wooden ring represents the raw licorice root state, the middle matte black ring represents the stage of transformation, and the outer glossy ring signifies the finished licorice product.
